Michael Slattery - Ullswater, The Lake District, 2008
The Outward Bound classic course, I have to say was probably the best 3 weeks of my life. I met the greatest people, had the greatest time and had the hardest goodbyes.
I'll always remember the amazing time I had there and the amazing things we did. My favourite part of the course had to have been the first night of the second expedition, just after we had descended from Skiddaw. Me and my friend George decided to go and fill up our water bottles at the stream. He was balancing on a rock which I didn't think was slippery, but when I stepped on it, and slipped, I dragged him in to! The response from the group when we returned was priceless. They all immediately blamed George. That definitely has to be my favourite part of the 3 weeks.
