Olga Parkes - Aberdovey, Wales, 1948

This photo, taken between 1948 and 1952, depicts a visit by HRH The Duke of Edinburgh to the Aberdovey Outward Bound Sea School (OBSS). The Duke is shaking hands with Captain P. Purkis, captain of the Garibaldi training ship used at Aberdovey OBSS.
