Peter Williams Williams - Moray Sea School, Burghead Scotland, 1963
I recollect a long arduous day canoeing the Caledonian Canal. We were running late and struggling to beach and camp. In darkness we found what was an ideal site with smooth grassy areas and easy access from the Loch. We set up camp, all of the team were exhausted and readily fell asleep. We were woken the following day by a gentleman fully attired in morning suit who firmly advised us that we were in the grounds of the Clansman Hotel and what were we going to do about the divots caused by the camping operation.
