Reg Hall - Aberdovey, Wales, 1951
I attended O.B.S.S Aberdovey in 1951 (Oct-Nov. I believe two names I can remember were the surnames Fuller & Gould.
We climbed Cader Idris as a group of about six people and then had to find our own way back to Aberdovey.
We also went by sailing ship from Aberdovey to Abersoch and back and we had to take it in turns to carry out various tasks on board. We did coastguard watch and loged ships that came into the bay.
I still have my report in the house somewhere, and when I find it, I will make a copy and post it to this story!
