Sjef Kwakman - Aberdovey, Wales, 1978
Course A.373 Group: SCOTT
From 22nd July to 12th August 1978.
Group instructor: Mike Holland
Senior Warden: Ian L. Fothergill
Living close to Amsterdam I finished highschool in july 1978 (18,5 years old). I attended the course with a friend. I still remember the rainy days and nights in a small tent while hiking. And being waked by Mike Holland early in the morning (I believe at 06.00 hours) for the daily dip in the cold water pool.
We laughed a lot. I enjoyed my 'holiday' in beautiful Wales very much! Really a wonderfull experience.
In August/September 1978 I started 2 studies (interrupted by military service (a compulsory period)) and in 1990 I started my architectural firm.
