Do you enjoy working in a professional and friendly team? If you are keen to gain experience and develop your skills in hospitality, without having to work late nights and weekends, then this is an ideal role for you.
This role is perfect for anyone who likes variety in their week as you'll be helping out in all areas of hospitality but with a focus on working in the kitchen. Our hospitality team play a very important role in the experience that course participants and guests have whilst at The Outward Bound Trust.
£12.00 per hour / permanent
Location: Outward Bound Ullswater and Howtown
Hours: 20 hours a week. Working 5 hours a day, over 4 days. Monday - Friday.
Salary: £12.00 per hour (£12,480 per year plus benefits).
Shift Patterns: Working 5 hours a day, over 4 days. Monday - Friday. Working hours are usually 07.00 – 12.00, or 15.00 – 20.00. However, we can offer flexible start and finish times. You'll usually finish working by 11.00 on a Friday! Unlike most jobs in hospitality there are no split shifts, and only very occasional weekend working.
Holidays: 24 days a year (rising by a day a year to a maximum of 30 days) plus bank holidays

What you'll be doing
Outward Bound is a charity. Thousands of young people come to our centres every year for a few days of outdoor learning and adventure.
Your job will range from supporting the kitchen team prepare great food, which is freshly made every day, serving food, and helping in the dining room, and occasionally working with the housekeeping team to maintain high standards.
