Head of Hospitality (Catering & Housekeeping)

We're looking for an Head of Hospitality to look after the hospitality, catering and housekeeping team at Outward Bound Loch Eil.

Full time / permanent

Location: You'll oversee the teams at our outdoor centre in Loch Eil.
Contract: Permanent/full time
Hours: 40 hours per week, mainly between 6am-8pm
Salary: £30,234 - £38,553 plus benefits (starting point dependant on skills & experience).

What you'll be doing

Our hospitality team play a very important role in the experience that course participants and guests have whilst at the centre. You’ll play a key part in contributing to the fantastic experience young people have on an Outward Bound course.

You will:

  • ensure all our guests have a high quality residential experience
  • provide inspirational leadership and management to a team of 15 hospitality staff
  • manage and lead on all aspects of hospitality related Health & Safety and risk management
  • manage financial control and procedures
  • have an owner’s eye for detail
  • maintain agreed quality standards
  • enjoy working in a busy centre full of young people
