Authentic Adventures for Independent Minds

ADVENTURES FOR INDEPENDENT MINDS

Want to challenge your pupils with experiences that will empower them, stretch their mindsets and develop skills as leaders and team members?

Or perhaps your focus is to provide nurturing experiences that support the social, emotional, and behavioural development of your young people?

An Outward Bound residential takes young people out of their comfort zones, showing them that they are capable of more than they ever thought possible.

Our locations are wild, and our adventures are authentic. With centres in Snowdonia, the Lake District and Scottish Highlands, our residentials are always packed with big adventures and even bigger learning opportunities.

Winter challenges spark year long learning

High adventure and challenge brings a deeper level of learning. Winter courses enable this process to really be embraced and experienced by participants. For Newquay Tretherras, the total immersion into the rugged Scottish winter landscape provides their sixth form students with a strong sense of self-confidence, engagement and motivation.

We say to our students that if you have the courage and fortitude to face the fi erce weather conditions and sleep out in a snow hole high on the Cairngorm plateau, a job interview or writing a personal statement isn’t going to phase you!
