Even before COVID-19 struck, we were increasingly concerned by the growing number of risks to young people's life chances; from declining wellbeing and poor mental health, to poor preparation for the workplace. COVID has amplified the risks and exacerbated the gaps in life chances. We believe this future can be different.
Outward Bound gives young people a different experience of challenge and achievement – one they may never have felt before. It pushes them to the limits of what they think they’re capable of and shows them that there is more in them than they think.
Evaluation of our courses gives us a clear understanding of the impact they have and helps ensure we’re achieving the best possible outcomes for the young people we work with.
