Free webinar: wellbeing in young people

Webinar: go wild for wellbeing

Webinar: feeling good and functioning well

There has never been more focus on the wellbeing of young people. At Outward Bound we've always known time in nature, connecting with peers and space to develop new behaviours has long term benefits. But during the pandemic we took a deep dive into exactly what we mean by wellbeing and what young people need to build this right now.

We hosted two webinars which you can catch up on below. The first with guests from the world of education, students and schools and the second with speakers from early careers, apprenticeships and employers.

Emma Ferris has written a report that brings together both the external data and our views on how learning and adventure in the wild can improve young people's wellbeing.

Feeling good and functioning well

At Outward Bound we define wellbeing as feeling good and functioning well. Young people need both to live healthy lives, thrive at work and contribute well to society. All of our latest news, blogs and updates are kept here...
